I love combining geometric shapes with hand-written type and funky color schemes. I don't know why...I just do! Happy Monday y'all!
If you haven't heard by now, I contracted with lululemon athletica last year for 6 months. It was great fun! The girls there are lovely! I say girls, because it's about 80% ladies who make up the creative department there. But I had the privilege to get to know Mel while there. Mel is lovely! She has quite a story too. She used to be an x-ray lab tech, then became a yoga instructor and is now part of the social media team for lululemon. She still teaches on the side and teaches about twice a week. You can find her schedule out here or via her instagram. But her instagram is full of beautiful and inspiring photos capturing the essence of Vancouver and all that around her. Happy Friday!
Happy National Cheese Fondue Day! I totally went 90s on this design...Think I'm watching too much X-files. HA!
The Great Discontent is a magazine and live event series featuring inspiring conversations with today's artists, makers, and risk takers. The magazine is full of real stories about people fighting to make their dream a reality. It's a very inspiring read. You can also listen to their interviews on their website. Happy Friday!
Still on my The Martian kick. Also, we're starting to see sprouts in our garden! How exciting!
Happy April Fools! I found these guys a few years ago posting the most amazing paper cut outs. They've since created a beautiful lamp shade made entirely out one piece of paper! Not quite origami, but very cool!
